fotos

Aquí estan unas fotos que he tomado ayer cuando estaba en el campo con Carmen. Ojala que las disfruten!

This was the sunniest and warmest day I have seen so far. It would be good contrast to show a picture of me at work every other day of the week in the office.

This is the public faucet in a town called "Santa Rosa Puquio." Puquio means natural spring in quechua. Unfortunately this town does not see so much water these days. About 5 years ago the city water company put wells in the area, which lowered the water table level, changing a lush town into another dry town with no water.

Our walk behind the sheep back to the highway to take a car back to the city. The bundle leading the flock is a woman with a mountain of hay on her back. We passed one house with dogs that are known to bite strangers, so we used the sheep as guards to sneak by. Good thing I have a guide.

Feliz Cumpleaños Mama!! Que tengas un día feliz.
